Payment Policy
For availability, please check the link on the left, underneath the prices. We do our best to keep this up to date so you can see if the dates you want are
available.
In order to book and hold your reservation, please email me the exact dates including the arrival date at our house, and the departure date, so we know exactly how
many nights you plan to stay. Also, we need to know how many people will be staying.
Then, we will send you a PayPal Money Request email for the full amount, plus the $500 security deposit. Also, we add 3% to cover the PayPal charges. If you need to cancel, we only refund the rental fee if we're able to find someone else to take your place. Of course you would get the security deposit back in such a case. We will return your security deposit by PayPal after you leave and we'll pay the 3% PayPal charge to send the deposit back ($515).
If you're booking more than 9 months in advance, then you can hold your room by simply putting down the balance, and then pay the security deposit sometime before
you arrive.
Final Note: You will love your stay at Mariposas del Sol! It's a very special place and so far most everyone who has rented it has loved it and said it was beyond their expectations. But if you are the type of person who complains about everything wherever you go, or are the type who enjoys starting fights with your waitress, then please take your business elsewhere, because we don't want it. We want good people in our house and we expect our renters to treat it like their own place - not a hotel to trash. Please think of it as staying at a friend's house and treat it with that level of respect.
